Feb. 3, 2017 – The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cyber/Netcentric Directorate of Contracting (HNCK) recently contracted with Garud Technology Services, Inc. to provide a bulk production of its Rechargeable Booster Module (RBM) II Battery assemblies. The last award for this product was in June 2016.

The Relay Booster Module (RBM) II battery is manufactured for use with the Garud Solar Panel, and other portable power applications. It is a rugged hermetically-sealed, lead acid deep cycle battery designed to meet both high temperature and shock and vibration, designed to provide years of service life. This product was developed for high-volume, long-term power storage that could not be achieved by available compact battery assemblies.
