March 29, 2019 – Garud Technology Services Inc (GTS) is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a member of the Border Security Technology Consortium (BSTC), a consortium focused on supporting the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other Stakeholders within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in providing collaborative Research and Development (R&D) and rapid prototyping/piloting capabilities germane to the border security domain.

GTS has over a decade of experience supporting the law enforcement community of practice. In that time, we have and currently support various border security technology initiatives and expect to contribute significantly to this forum. Our current efforts in support of CBP operations within the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) encompass the TECS Modernization and the Land Border Integration programs. In similar fashion, our support extends to the Air Marine Operations (AMO) Tactical Air Land and Marine Enterprise Communications (TALMEC), and the Non-Intrusive Inspection Division (NIID) of the Office of Field Operations (OFO).

As a member of BSTC, GTS will leverage the consortium’s resources to better meet current and possibly future security requirements, with an eye towards closing capability gaps.
