November 6, 2018 – The Office of Management and Budget recently designated General Services Administration’s 8(a) Streamlined Technology Application Resource for Services (STARS) II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle as “Best in Class”!

The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is the third-generation contract providing solid, successful results for federal customers and the 8(a) small business IT community. With this total small business set-aside contract, agencies have access to 787 small businesses participating in Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program that are technically proficient, offer competitive pricing, and have industry accreditation. Federal agencies can use 8(a) STARS II to buy customized IT solutions like programming services, system design services and computer facilities management services. The contract also allows for directed awards up to $4 million each. Cost avoidance projection for 8(a) STARS II in FY19 is $7.2 million, based on projected spending of $56.4 million.
